PROFILE:

The skills that supported business success from the past to the present will not necessarily take your company from the present to the future. Agility3R is an organizational effectiveness firm helping small businesses compete in a more complex and global marketplace. Our commitment is to align strategy and people to create customer value through strategic planning, employee development, and executive coaching. The founder Jennifer Sertl has over 15 years experience leading change initiatives and helping companies grow both in tangible and intangible value.

PHILOSOPHY:

While many organizations invest in gadgets, infrastructure, and physical assets-Agility3R believes that your most competitive differentiation strategy is your employees and how well you identify, foster, and leverage the beliefs of your employee base. It is our belief that the most competitive business skill for the 21st century is your ability to be agile. We define agility by resilience, responsiveness, and reflection.

RESILIENCE:

Our ability to compete has a lot to do with our determination, endurance, and ability to look truth square in the face and design with reality. How well do you design “failure” into your systems? How many times do you ask, “why might this fail” as you launch a project? How quickly can you recover and take ownership for a mistake? How do other people learn from your life lessons?

RESPONSIVENESS:

Running a business is like managing an equilateral triangle. You have to design with equal presence and concern for customers, shareholders, and employees. These are not static entities you are always in competition to have the best value proposition for all three. At one time it was satisfaction, later followed by loyalty. Today Agility3R believes you have to have your pulse on RELEVANCE. So long as you are creating mutual value for you customers, shareholders, and employees—you will retain them. The moment you forget that, is the moment you loose market share.  Are you responsive or merely available? How well do you understand the competitive strategy of your customer base? How healthy and vital is your workforce? What are the long term aspirations of your most valuable employees? Why are your shareholders interested in your success?

REFLECTION:

Here is our prediction of how your organization will have to manage time/focus/energy better. Is your company going to have the capacity to be responsive and design solutions with your customers? Are you honest with your personal capacity? Or are you making promises that you know can never be delivered? You need to be a non-anxious presence in an anxious system to create wisdom from knowledge. Let it start with you.
